We are already at work choosing our selection for the 2012 holiday season. Most of our cards are suitable for business corporate greetings, or for personal use. Our select regional Boston and New England images are exclusives (photography & design by Sharon Shea). These cards can be customized inside or out, with any verse, logo, or signature of your choice. Many of our cards are also for sale on on Salem Design Shop.
Our first choice for our 2012 collection is “Antiques in Snow”, a quintessential New England image.

One of the last of our new images off the press line for 2011. We can still print this up for a last minute business order, and we have some available boxed on our Salem Design Shop. Business orders can have any customization; boxed cards have a standard verse.
Our images are all from photographs of Boston and the New England, so have the particular look of our region not found in generic cards. We can do any inside customization including custom verses, logos, and inside card addresses. We produce unique and high quality cards that are kept long after the holidays, so besides the seasonal greetings, they often stay around as a reminder the connection with your client.
Also, we have notes on the back of many of our cards to explain the image and why we feel it exemplifies something special about our region. The note on the back of this card is: “A doorway representative of New England’s historic Federal architecture. A carved cod fish hangs over the door as the symbol of the fishing industry and enterprise that drove New England’s and the young nation’s colonial economy.”

We’re into the holidays, and we have put two of our favorite cards on sale. These are beautiful cards, printed on high quality stock, at deep discount prices. Fifteen cards per box, the Rudolph card has an interesting historical note on the back of the card. Both cards express the beauty and cheer that the holidays bring to New England.

It’s been traditional to have a return address on business greetings, and it can help you clean up your mailing lists. However, it’s also most common that as soon as a greeting is received, the envelope is disposed of. Your greeting can be to a new client or long-time customer, and your greeting is a friendly reminder of your connection. However, what is your contact information?
We find that with our custom cards, they very often kept around, taped to a computer or some other place to liven up a home desk or office workspace. Recently we have been including not only custom greetings, logos, and name imprints, but also an inside-card address and other contact information, even web addresses.
Keeping up with contact information is so important, yet often difficult with contact information changing so frequently. Your customer, client, or personal friend may remember you well, but forget how to contact you when they need that address. Or even if they have your address, did you get a new phone line, or change your extension? (Or perhaps contact information was lost during an application upgrade. Yipe! As bad as losing the good old fashioned address book.)
We are more often including contact information in a discreet corner, under a logo, or on the opposite side of the page. We are happy to provide you with free proofs to let you see the layout possibilities.

We are delighted with the re-make of one of our favorite cards. Acorn Street, Beacon Hill, Boston has been digitally “remastered” and reprinted with our new digital printing process. The stock is heavier, more brilliant, and we are delighted with the spectacular new look of this classic image. We have also added a historical note to the back of our card: “Built in the late 1820′s, Acorn Street is paved with its original cobble stones. Acorn Street is one of the most famous landmarks in this historic district, and has been preserved to reflect its early appearance.”
This image is available for large corporate or small business orders, and we also have boxed cards for either personal or business use. For this particular card there is an exception that we can accommodate smaller business orders with just a standard greeting and simple custom imprint.
